It's been 10 years since I wrote my first book. Here I go again, on a Benyf journey.
In this new book, Nna Beti will return, wiser and calmer; life will have taught some valuable lessons. She finally let go of her past, she traveled the word, she met new people from new cultures.
Nna healed, she is not broken any more, she stopped carrying old pains, she confronted them, and through God's Holy Spirit help, she let her inner light shine.
Nna met new people along the way, Kintsugi Khi was one of them.
I drew inspiration for Kintsugi's name from the Japanese art of broken pottery. I was fascinated by the fact that a new art form was created through the process of joining broken pieces of pottery with gold. The finished product was even more intriguing than the original. A metaphor of healing and resilience in the midst of life's setback. A choice to move forward. An eagle's reach above the storm. A freedom, an overcoming, and at last, a purpose.
